Galloping Good Time
We decided to take advantage of a beautiful fall day by heading out to Gareth’s Pappy’s house to check out the horses. First Gareth got to try out the great big horse (he loved it but it was a little hard to hold him up there!) <%popup(20031013-big horse.jpg|640|468|Way up high)%> | <%popup(20031013-close up horse.jpg|640|456|Happy Cowboy)%> Next Gareth went for a bumpy but fun ride on the pony cart. He smiled up and down the lane through the woods. Travis even got to take a turn driving the horse cart! <%popup(20031013-cart.jpg|640|589|Bumpin' up and down in the pony cart)%> We unhitched the pony from the cart and treated it to some apples. Gareth got a little slimed from horse drool, but he thought it was fun to feed the pony. <%popup(20031013-apples.jpg|640|453|Pony treat)%> Then Gareth got to ride on the pony around the yard. He’d bounce every time the pony stopped and even when the pony was tired out and wanted to rest, Gareth didn’t want to get off of the pony’s back!
